A Step Forward

Well here it goes I have just taken a major step in life (well it seems) I'm moving up in the world. I'm going to High school next year. I have left behind the world of middle school and enter High School with trepidation and fear and lots of doubt.

I realized today that despite many bad experiences I've had many good throughout my Middle school experiences. I think just I might even miss it a little I actually feel kind of sad leaving it all behind. I've had some good and bad times but I made it through and stuck it out. I've changed a lot I realized and for the better middle school was a life changing experience. Like I said I made it through and I think through it all I stayed true to myself.

Lets hope I can keep it up through the years to come!

What I give to the world? Is there anything?

Well today seemed like any other day , little spurts of inspiration splashed all over my day but it seems their were too many to remember. Outside the sun just finished going down leaving the sky a pale purple. The day is tuning down.

You know personally I think that we should take our advice from the sun go to bed when it goes down but not when it goes up of course that's asking too much from a lazy teen like me . Another thing humans should be like animals , hibernating all winter or at least migrating south where its warm and there is not even a speck of that infernal white stuff.

Right now I'm really bored so you don't have to read the rest of this if you don't want to.

Today there were three questions that came to mind.

1.What do I give back to the world?

This seemed to be an especially hard question since its not something you think about on an average day to day basis. Which then lead me to ask question #2 What do I give back to God? After all he died for me he freed me from sin! He died I mean I should give him something in return! But i realize their isn't one thing in this whole world that you can give to Jesus to pay the price that he paid for our sins. Except ourselves. Your whole selves, giving your full self to Jesus doing his bidding , submitting your soul to Jesus.

Which lead me to ask Question #3 How do you submit yourself to Jesus?

That is still a question that I'v been contemplating . Honestly I think that there are many right answers to this, there are many ways you can do this .

Just by sacrificing your wants and putting the desires of Jesus Christ before your own is submitting to him. By giving him control over a situation or your own reactions not giving into sin, and by making him the centre of your being and the centre of your life. For me there seem to be many ways to submit yourself to God there must be millions of more ways but for now I'll just keep to those three.

Sneaky tricks

Working on rench homework is a laborious task that leaves me frustrated and mad. Most of all reading really hard french books for homework is the most daunting task. But alas I have made it through. ( Barely I was almost skinned alive.) I was so relieved that I finished that ridiculous french book "Jeanne, fille du roy" that I forgot the about the report we had to do so now here I am at nine at night struggling to get this stupid thing done.

I just happened to make an Internet search of the book and found that their was an english version. I felt like I could have kick myself in the head. I could have saved myself four weeks of struggling if I'd looked sooner.

Well I've learned for this fatal lesson

#1 Always search the Internet before reading really hard french books

#2 Don't procrastinate ( I've learned this a million times already I'm finally starting to get the message)

At least now I can be a hero and help save the other french class that has just started to read this book !

( I probably won't really be one but you can only hope)

Adrenaline Rush

Life continue's at the norm ! you're lazy and you lay around watching tv and playing video games maybe go outside for a quick bike ride or swim in the pool but than its back to being a couch potato !! life in the summer time isn't nearly as exciting as it is in the fall ( even though you despise school) ! its something too do at least ! Well in the summer time you HAVE to make yourself usefull or you'll die of bordom !!

So why not take up ... WRITING !!!!!!!! well that what I do !!! just to feel the rush of excitment as you feel the words flowing through you and you just know that what you're writing is EPIC ! To feel the rush of excitement as you read the words that were formed from YOU'RE thoughts !! it makes you feel speacial and cabable ! it makes you feel like YOU can make a diffrence in the world ! So if you feel bored this summer take up writing or if you want you can feel the adventure in a different way and Read !!!!!

it feels like I just wrote an advertisment !!!!!!! just a suggestion for summer bordom !!!!!!!! its what i do !!!!! ( but look where it got me )

Planning for the future !

Well after a brief ( well i wouldn't say it was brief) history lesson with my dad about my family i decided that i want to write a fictionalized version of George and Mary's Light's account of there immigration ! aka A BOOK it all sounds so fascinating that i don't no where to begin all in no is that i have a set out ending and a little bit of a beginning !! but i'm so excited i don't think all have to do much research because my dad did it all so its like the story is being handed to me !! dad is really going to help me along the way !

i haven't actually started writing yet , there just ideas that i feel sure on! so after i read the book my dad wrote on our family history than i'll have one leg over the fence , climbing the hill is another matter entirely!!

well back to the subject of our students not that we were ever on it but anyways !! Roxanne is absolutly home sick and she plans to be home by eight o'clock tommorow and i don't know if Jo is staying either so we might lose both of are students by tommorow !!

Well before we knew all this Maddy and I had been snooping around in their room looking for some books that Heather had packed away ( heather where did you put your for b or w books ?) we saw that all Roxys stuff was packed up and early that morinig saw that she had emptied her drawer full of makeup and exotic prefumes !! so one thing led to another and so on !! so we don't know if shes going our not but if she does she is passing up a great experience thats what my dad says !!

Tommorrow my little brother is coming home !! did i just put and exclaimtion point at the end of that senetence OPPS!! well he is !! that means the end of Maddy and my( i don't know how to phrase that) silent peacefull ,cease fire !! well at least i think !! i hope not because we are actually getting along fine not that much fighting just little playfull spats but those are all in good humor !! i'm surprised that we get along this well i haven't wanted to really punch her just said that i did ( heather you'd be proud) !! well she does have to give me a free slurpee but other than that !!

Oh ya and i finally managed to scare maddy she ALWAYS scares me but this oh yes was my turn to !! that succesfully ends my day !!

another day on the outside !

Well the warm weather has finally caught up with us its BOILLING outside !! its like the saudi desert i remember !! (well it was probaly hotter) I admit i'm sad to see the rain go!! I actually wanted to go outside when it was raining !!

after going to bed at about two am every morning and waking up at the same time in the afternoon my mom finally put her foot down !! i have to go to bed at ten at night and be up by ten the next morning ! so it is with a mourning heart that i say goodbye to my nightlife! I guess i can't finish reading the multitude of books that have piled up in my room !!

luckily my mom and little brother have decided to go down to Silverdale for five days so i can stay up and get rid of my little brother at the same time ! and hopefully Maddy won't be on watchdog mode !!

I really miss heather ! yesterday i had no one to help me pick out clothes and no one to

complain to about how Maddy was annoying me so I just had to stick it out !!

well right now i have some secret free on the computer so i'm going to put it to some use and work on my latest story idea !!

P.S if you read this Heather! when you come back you and I can go on a nice LONG bike ride !! now that you'll have more practice!!

another "new" sister

well we have another student staying with us !! her name is Jo! she is very kind. she and Roxy get along very well !

the reason she is staying with us is because she didn't feel very comfortable with her family so she decide to stay with us inside ( well first she met roxanne at work and they got talking)

tommorow we are going on paddle boats !! the program as activites set up for them on wednesday nights and on the weekends !! and the family get to tag along !! so ya for me !!

well the girls and baruka ( i think thats how you spell his name! Heat is staying at his house)

tried to get to the H20!! and after some of my advice they took the bus to the college! but the bus systeme here suck so there were no more buses going to that area (H20 area) so they had to come back home again !! well at least they got see more of the town !!
